Backing up and restoring Study
Making a backup
Open Stats and tap Backup. The app packs your results, your saved quizzes and your stats into one file and offers it three ways: attached to a new email, attached to a new text message, or through your phone’s share sheet, so you can put it on a cloud drive, send it to another phone or AirDrop it.
We never receive the file. Wherever you send it is covered by that service’s own policy.
Restoring
Open Study on the phone you want your results on, go to Stats, tap Restore a backup, and choose the file. Restoring replaces what is on that phone with what the file holds, so the app asks first.
Keeping it safe
The file is sealed, so the app notices if a byte of it changes and other apps cannot casually read it. It has no password, though: anyone with the file and the app can restore it. Treat it like any file that holds your results.
